‘Zootopia’ Enters $1 Billion Club Worldwide

The latest animated movie by Walt Disney Pictures has entered $1 billion club at the end of its 17th weekend at Worldwide box-office. It is the 55th animated feature in the Walt Disney Animated Classics series. Disney rules the Worldwide box office!

The news is definitely boosting for the animation film industry and for the fans and viewers of the film who enjoyed this great comedy adventure of a rabbit police officer and a red fox con.

Now Zootopia has bagged the no 4 spot in the list of animated movies who scored billion-dollar mark at the box-office history. The film makers took to social media to thank the fans for helping ‘Zootopia’ earn $1,000,000,000 at the global box office!

Disney always manages to attract viewers attention and grab positive critics ratings for all its releases. By giving so many blockbuster hits Worldwide, Disney is currently the most successful Hollywood studio.

The success streak of ‘Zootopia’ begin with its whooping opening of $73.7 million. Now that the animated film has crossed $1 billion collection at the global box office, it is now officially the 26th-highest-grossing movie of all time.

In its $1,000.020M collection the major chunk is from international market of $662.8 million making it Disney’s second film to pull such aw-sum numbers. The film is still going strong over the box-office in its 17th week and will soon create another milestone.

The number 1 spot is till bagged by Captain America: Civil War. With this latest entry into billion-dollar club the number of movies released by Disney rose to 11 out of 26 films that have marked their name into this elite club.
