The Conjuring 2 has released to positive response. With whopping collection from all over the World’s theatres, the film is doing good business on Indian screens too. Check out its first weekend and day 4th earning numbers.
The movie opened to a huge opening of Rs.5.25 crores on its opening day. It surpassed the box office collection of “Te3n”. On its second and third day, it collected Rs 6.90 crores and Rs 7.60 crores respectively. By the end of its first weekend, it managed to earn Rs. 19.80 crores which surpassed the numbers earned by Bollywood movies released along with it.
The numbers are from its all version of English, Hindi, Tamil & Telugu as confirmed by trade analyst ‘Taran Adarsh’. We are expecting it to earn in the range of Rs 3-4 cr on its 4th business day or on 1st weekday i.e Monday.
The second installment has performed well Worldwide in its opening week. The supernatural thriller has find its target audience on Indian screens and also managed to successfully grab their attention.
Directed by James Wan and written by Carey Hayes,Chad Hayes,Wan and David Leslie Johnson,the flick is the sequel to the film ‘The Conjuring’. It was released in 2013. The upcoming film will be released by Warner Bros. Pictures
