The Angry Birds Movie Review & Audience Response

“The Angry Birds Movie” is on big screens from today! The 3D adventure comedy is debuting directors Clay Kaytis and Fergal Reilly. The movie has already released initially a week before in the United States received mixed reviews. The film is released on Indian screens in Hindi, English and Tamil language.

It centres around the character Red. He has an anger problem. Then the arrival of green piggies changes everything. We will see these angry birds and their hatred towards the green pigs. Finally find out why the birds are so angry in this 3D animated comedy.

It is childish and has a loose script although funny. Some scenes look borrowed from earlier movies like The Shining and The Ice Age. The viewers gonna like this animated movie even if they haven’t played the game.

With stellar animated visuals, its a treat for children on big screens this week. Along with children, adults too will enjoy this eye-popping animated joyride.

The buzz was that Josh Gad at first declined to star in the movie initially. He thought he will get typecast but finally agreed to do the film.

It is produced by John Cohen and Catherine Winder. Sony Pictures Imageworks have handled the animation. It has a huge voice cast of Jason Sudeikis, Danny McBride, Maya Rudolph, Kate McKinnon, Josh Gad, Sean Penn, Tony Hale, Keegan-Michael Key. The makers decided to do the film after getting influenced by the success of the Angry Birds Toons series and the video game.

Adapted from the classic hand travel angry birds movie is expected to rule Indian box-office this week. Hit the theatres to see RED beat his anger!
