The debate surrounding the upcoming political drama “Shorgul” is increasing with each passing day. The latest update is that the film’s release date has been postponed by a week. Now Jimmy Sheirgill & Ashutosh Rana starring political drama Shorgul gonna release on July 1st in theatres.
The film which was scheduled to release on June 24 i.e this Friday has already been facing many controversies. The postponed came just one day before its release on big screens.
The film touches the sensitive issue of Muzaffarnagar riots of 2013. Reportedly it has characters that resemblance to politicians “Akshilesh Yadav’ & “Sangeet Som”. Earlier a petition was filed to stay on the movie against the flick before the Allahabad High Court.
The film makers also claim that the film has been banned from the western Uttar Pradesh city. The recent news is garnering attention of public who are posting their views on social media. Check some of the voices here:

Whatever be the reason behind this push but the news is definitely not good for the fans and the viewers of the film who are eagerly waiting to watch the flick this Friday on big screens.
Shorgul is a political drama, based on real life incidents that rocked the Nation with headlining news in the past. The film is set on the backdrop of Uttar Pradesh bringing to light sensitive subjects that have occurred in our country. In addition, it brings out some controversial Political Mind Games & Master strokes of high profile dignitaries.
