Sarbjit 12th Day Tuesday Box-office Collection 2nd Week

The emotional, heart-wrenching story ‘Sarbjit’ is faring in its 2nd week of the box-office. The film performed averagely in its second weekend also. Read on to find its 2nd week day 12 box-office numbers.

Sarbjit , the biopic on Sarbjit Singh who was convicted of spying and declared a terrorist by Pakistan had collected over Rs. 27 crores after 10 days of its release.

The film grew in collections when in the last weekend it collected nearly Rs. 5 crores. It collected 1.10 cores on Friday followed by 1.45 crores and 2.03 crores on Saturday and Sunday making a total of Rs 26.67 cr at the end of its 2nd weekend.

We are expecting the film to close its 2nd week numbers very near to or at Rs 30 cr. Its 11th day i.e Monday numbers is around Rs 71 lakhs and Rs 65-70 lakhs is expected to be its business on 12th day i.e Tuesday.

The movie is directed by Omung Kumar. The film stars Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Randeep Hooda , Richa Chadha and Darshan Kumaar. The film is based on Sarbjit Singh’s sister Dalbir Kaur version of events. The shooting of the film began in December last year and was released on 20th May.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan plays the sister of Sarabjit, Dalbir Kaur. Randeep hood plays Sarbjit singh whereas Richa Chadha plays his wife. Darshan Kumar plays the lawyer fighting his case.

The movie shows his sister’s struggle for 23 years and the determined campaigns led by her to clear his name and bring him back but he was destined to die out of the hands of fellow inmates after his orders of release.

Although the movie was praised by the critics. People appreciated the leads performance. Randeep Hooda has become very popular after his dedicated and strong performance in Sarbjit. But the film was a bit low and the genre also didn’t interest the young audience. Moreover Civil War and X-Men beat the movie at the box office in terms of craze!

Sarbjit was also released in 15th year at Cannes and it received wonderful reviews from the audience there. The movie is rated 3 stars on 5.
