Born in Dehradun, she was brought up in Haridwar. She garnered attention In 2001 when her dance master made her appear in Renoo Nathan’s video “Thirakti Kyun Hawa”. The same yaer, she made her film debut with the Telugu film “Ishtam”. The movie wasn’t a big hit but brought Shreya the much needed platform.
