Pilla Rakshasi Telugu 1st Weekend Box Office Collection Report

The Telugu version of Malayalam superhit film “Ann Maria Kalippilanu” (2016) titled “Pilla Rakshasi”has released on big screen. The trade analysts are expecting it to make it big over the box-office on its opening day. Find the early estimates of its 1st weekend earning/business numbers.

“Pilla Rakshasi” is a dubbed version of a recent Malayalam superhit film. “Ann Maria Kalippilaanu” impressed the viewers and critics with its theme and superb storyline. The film also performed well at the box-office and collected approx Rs 1.21 crore on its release date from Kerala centers only.

This could be the reason why the film makers dubbed it in Telugu. Pilla Rakshasi is a presentation of Chadalavada brothers of the “Bichagadu” fame and also it is directed by Midhun Manuel Thomas who also directed the original Malayalam version. Apart from this the film gathered positive reviews from its official trailer.

The film is basically a entertainment movie which is based for children. And for this reason it gonna attract the attention of viewers of all age group and section. We are expecting this family entertainer to impress the audience and collect an impressive amount of Rs 3-4 crores on its opening day. The movie is expected to collect around 12 crore in its 1st weekend.

The Malayalam version ‘Ann Maria Kalippilanu’ has made a gross lifetime collection of Rs. 10 crores which is quite a good box office figure for a low budget movie. Pilla Rakshasi is expected to bankroll the success of Ann Maria Kalippilanu and post a decent figure in its debut week.

The movie beautifully portrays the relationship a fourth grader Ananya and a fraudster. How this unlikely duo change each others lives drives the plot forward. The film also has Dulquer Salman of “Ok Bangaram” fame in guest appearance. Considering all the factors, “Pilla Rakshasi” is likely to make it big at Telugu box-office on 04th Nov.
