Ice Age: Collision Course Movie Review & Box-office Update

The 3D animated movie “‎Ice Age: Collision Course”‬ is here in theatre. Its an another ice age film in the long-running series with Manny, Sid, Diego making there comeback for the 5th time. Read our review to find out what the film holds in for you.

The film released July 15 in India in Hindi, English, Tamil & Telugu languages. The critics have touted it to be a relentless, fun-filled and fast-paced flick.

If you are following the series from the very start or if you’re a fan of the franchise or if you are looking for a family movie this weekend then ‎Ice Age: Collision Course is for you otherwise it better to look for other options.

Ice Age: Collision Course could not draw much audience to the theatres. The movie is an average grosser. The 3D animated adventure flick is the sequel to Ice Age: Continental Drift released in 2012.

The film already released in United States screens one week before its release in India. Overall it received mixed reviews from critics. It grossed just $57 million Worldwide. On Rotten Tomatoes the film was rated 24%, based on 25 reviews and on Metacritic, it scored 37 out of 100, based on 5 critics. So the movie is defintely not one of the highest grossers of 2016.

Directed by Mike Thurmeier and Galen T. Chu. It stars Ray Romano, John Leguizamo, Denis Leary, Queen Latifah, Keke Palmer, Jennifer Lopez, Simon Pegg, Chris Wedge, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Adam DeVine, Nick Offerman and many more.

The huge cast see many reprising their roles while some new additions are also there. Initially set for July 15 date, the makers postponed to avoid clash with Ghostbusters.

Ice Age: Collision Course earned $18 million in its International theatrical run two weeks prior to the official release. The second week saw $32.2 million from 25 countries release. It recorded the biggest opening for Fox in Argentina.
Collision Course will release in UK, INDIA and other countries on July 22. In some countries, it fared well in the initial week and then the negative reviews affected the occupancy. Lets see how it fares at the Indian Box office.
