“Housefull 3” has collected a whooping Rs. 112.27 crores in its first week from Worldwide. It will soon cross Rs. 150 crores by its second week taking overseas collections into account. Its whooping collection of Rs. 15.21 crores on its very first day gave the movie edge over other releases.
The film has been going well at the overseas box office too. The movie is a hit, performing better than Shahrukh’s Fan. The audience feel its a good one time watch. The entertainment is for the whole family so film makers targeted a major section of the audience with this release.
Some of the comedy used looks childish on the big actors but it definitely has a house full of jokes. One of the reviewers of Hindustan Times felt that there was no story to look forward to, just the comic drama keeps viewers engaged.
The first half of the film is hilarious with some laugh-out loud moments but the second half is dragged. But the climax compensates wrapping things well.
The huge starcast of Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan, Riteish Deshmukh, Nargis Fakhri, Lisa Hayden and Jacqueline Fernandez and direction of Sajid-Farhad provided much needed start to the film.
