Finding Dory 1st Weekend Box Office Collection Update

Findig Dory, 3D animated adventure sequel to 2003 “Finding Nemo” was released successfully in theaters on 17th June 2016. Read on to find its opening weekend box-office numbers from Indian and Overseas screens.

The movie was reviewed with superb words from critics as well as from audience all over world. According to the critics Finding Dory is a worth watching sequel to 2003 movie which is directed by Andrew Staton and produced by Lindsey Collins with Walt Disney Pictures Pixar Animation Studios.

The movie has earned a superb number of total on its opening day over box office in India by collecting around 1.42 cr. And movie has collected US$ 55 million on its first day at USA box office collection. The trade analyst and movie critic Taran Adarsh has confirmed its first two day box office collection on his twitter account.

The movie is expected to collect around Rs 2-3 cr on its third business day i.e Sunday over box office in India. With the third day collection, the movie business number will be in the range of Rs 5-6 cr nett in its first weekend in India.

Finding Dory 3D animated movie has also broke down the collection record for animated movie by collecting US$ 136.2 million on its first weekend over box office. The previous records was created by Dreamworks movie Shrek The Third in 2007.

The sequel to 2003 animated movie has hit theaters nearly 13 years with bang over box office all over world. Though movie has faced tough competition from Dwayne Johnson & Kevin Hart’s “Central Intelligence”, still movie got its way out in hearts of audience and critics.
