Captain America: Civil War collected a whooping ₹ 75 Crores Worldwide. The superhero concept has always been audience’s favourite. The movie has already created waves as it’s the thirteenth film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
It hit the screens in India on May 6 and the movie opened to amazing response. Civil War has already collected 50 crores till date. The first week saw the earning of Rs 42.72 crores. It made a whooping 27.13 crores on weekend and Rs. 15.59 crores on weekdays despite several Bollywood releases which could not be upto mark.

The second week saw the earning of 15 crores approx. Also the jungle book fever died out slowly lifting the earnings for civil war. However the film drop in Indian attendance as the much awaited Azhar released this week in the cricket loving nation.
Ranked third in highest grossers so far, Civil War earned around $940 million on the international level profiting the Marvel Cinematic Universe with $10 billion from 13 installments in the last 8 years.
The film has become the fourth highest Hollywood opener of all time. Fast and Furious 7 had earned Rs 16.75 crores on its Day 1 and Avengers Age of Ultron with Rs 10.98 crores. The highest grosser this year so far, the Jungle Book collected Rs 10.90 crores on its opening day.
Captain America Hollywood Movie is a sequel of Captain America: The First Avenger (2011) and Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014). It features Chris Evans and Robert Downey Jr in the key roles and Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Don Cheadle, Jeremy Renner, Chadwick Boseman, Anthony Mackie among others.
The promotions of Civil War resonated with moviegoers as it promised an epic fight between Chris Evans’ Captain America and Robert Downey Jr.’s Iron Man as they see each other on two sides of a good vs evil battle at the box office. the introduction of Chadwick Boseman’s Black Panther and Tom Holland’s Spiderman too gathered attention.
Captain America: Civil War is expected to do good in India in the upcoming days. Let’s hope the superheroes of civil war earn more than the animals of jungle book!
