The Mahesh babu starrer ‘Brahmotsavam’ released on Indian screens yesterday but it raked appreciation in international market on Thursday only. It has done outstanding business at the premiere shows in the international markets including that of U.S. and U.A.E.
The flick is turning out to be ‘Mahesh Babu’ biggest opener film ever. Its box-office records might beat Mahesh’s previous films records of “Srimanthudu” and “Aagadu.”
The industry experts are expecting Brahmotsavam U.S premiere show collection to cross $600,000 at the U.S. box office. It has already collecetd $425,933 from 127 screens and other numbers are still awaited.
So is expected to beat the record of “Srimanthudu” which raked $500K in paid preview and “Aagadu” with $533K at the U.S. box office. Lets see if the flick beats the record Pawan Kalyan starrer “Sardaar Gabbar Singh” or not.
The distributors managed to release it on more than 200 screens in the U.S. and 100 screens in other Overseas market. Telugu actor Mahesh Bahu is very popular in the US so huge response to the film was expected!
The movie is directed by Srikanth Addala and Kajal Agarwal, Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Pranitha Subhash. It’s the second collaboration of Mahesh Babu and Srikanth Addala after “Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu”. It’s a family drama and its promos had stirred excitement among the viewers.
The makers had already sealed the deals for all the rights scoring Rs. 90 crore. The making cost has already been recovered. The rights of the movie have fetched the second highest price of the year. Classic Entertainment had already acquired the overseas distribution rights of the movie for Rs. 13.20 crore.
The movie has great production and beautiful direction. The visuals of the flick are being appreciated a lot. The soundtracks and their picturisation are just superb! The audience are loving the lead actors performance. The film portrays human values and is basically a message based film. Overall the movie is engaging.
