Bambukat Punjabi Movie Review & Box-office Update

The much awaited Punjabi flick “Bambukat” is here in theatres. The early reviews and audience response from its early morning shows are out. Read on to find if the film is a hit among masses or fails to attract audience along with critics review and opening day box-office early estimates.

The film directed by Pankaj Batra released today in more than 3000 screens Worldwide with positive buzz surrounding the movie. The story of the film is about two sisters and their respective husbands. Its background has been set in 1960s era of Punjab.

Despite its predictable plot, Bambukat ables to keep viewers engaged with stellar performances by its lead casts and good screenplay. Its not a usual comedy drama that viewers see on big screens these days but do have its own comic part.

The film majorly deals with enjoying sweet and short moments in life. It emphasize on seeing simpler things in life.
Pakko is married to Chanan Singh and he loves her immensely. However he is from village and is financially unstable. He has a passion for engines and uses his talent in making new vehicles.

One day they are invited to Pakko’s maternal home but when they went there he realises that the family is smitten by Sami and her wealthy husband Resham Singh. Resham Singh works in a railway and owns a motorcycle which is a status symbol. This unfair treatment drives Chanan Singh to prove himself by buying his own motorcycle.

Bambukat Film Day 1 Opening Friday Box-office Collection Numbers

The film is set in a small village of Punjab, Chanan {Ammy Virk} stars as a young man who loves 2 things in his life. First is his beautiful wife Pakko {Simi Chachal} and 2nd is his bicycle that he uses to ferry her around the country side.

But when the wealthy and the handsome Resham Singh { Binno Dillon} arrives flaunting his brand new motorbike then the everything changes. It is a comedy drama movie with Ammy Virk, Binnu Dillon, Simi Chahal and Sheetal Thakur in lead roles.

The movie is produced by Amiek Virkand Karaj Gill under the banner of Nathat Films. The other stars in the movie are Karamjit Anmol, Sardar Sohi, Nirmal Rishi, Hobby Dhaliwal, Anita Devgan, Harbilas Sangha and Razia Sukhbir.

The screenplay of the movie is handled by Jass Grewal. The movie is edited by Manish more and the cinematography is handled by Vineet Malhotra. As per early estimates the movie is expected to earn around 2crores on its opening day i.e Friday and will gain strong hold over the box-office in coming days.

The coming weekend will see houseful shows at some cinemas as Ammy Virk and Binnu Dillon’s fan following will help the flick to attract more eyeballs. Bambukat is a complete family entertainer and will be enjoyed by viewers of all ages and groups.

After seeing the positive buzz, viewers response and industry experts views, we are expecting it to register its name among highest grosser of 2016.
